Nonviolence training and sign-making party

Preparation for forthcoming Black Lives Matter demonstrations, which start 2 hours ahead of home football games at the OSU Beaver Store. Nonviolence training will be led by long-time peace activist Linda Richards. Sign-making supplies will be provided.

During sign making we will discuss the Black Lives Matter movement. What are its origins and its goals? Is it anti-police? What’s your opinion of its tactics? Why are non-black people rallying behind it?

The co-op has a deli where you may buy lunch. This event is free; donations to Corvallis SURJ accepted ($5, more if you can, less if you can’t).
